Plaxt is a media scrobbling service that syncs watch activity from media servers (Plex, Emby, Jellyfin), streaming services (Netflix), and between tracking services (Trakt, Simkl). The Service requires you to have accounts with these third-party services.

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with those terms, including any session cookies or tokens you provide. We may disable integrations if required by third-party policies. We are not responsible for:

• Changes to third-party APIs that affect the Service
• Actions taken by third-party services on your account
• Data handling by third-party services

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Plaxt and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Plex, Trakt, Simkl, Emby, Jellyfin, and Netflix are trademarks of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED SCROBBLES OR SYNC FAILURES DUE TO THIRD-PARTY SERVICE OUTAGES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAXT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes when possible.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the EU.
